Forged in Cold Water
I’ve been fishing for as long as I can remember. Growing up in Ontario Canada, it was just part of life — something I always found myself coming back to. Over the years, it turned into more than just a hobby. I got hooked on the chase. From summer king salmon runs to icy mornings hunting steelhead in the dead of winter, those are the moments that really stuck with me.
Northbite was born out of this — out of a love for fishing, being outside, and pushing through the tough days because it’s worth it for the stories you create. I wanted to produce gear that feels like it belongs out there with us — simple, tough, and made for the kind of anglers who'd rather be on the water than anywhere else in the world.
The Birth of Northbite Apparel Co.
Northbite started as a way to produce gear I could actually stand behind — apparel that feels like it belongs on the water and that I’m proud to wear. We launched with apparel, but this is just the beginning. There are so many cool things in the works, I can't wait to share them with you.
In addition to our regular Northbite Apparel Co. branding, we proudly display our steelhead decal with the maple leaf to point back to our roots. Whether it's on the sleeve of our hoodies, the shoulders of our t-shirts, or the inside of our hats, you'll always know you're wearing our authentic gear when you find this decal.
